"I don't know where I'd be without Mariella. She picks me up every time, on time, as planned and we have a great adventure, even though I get really nervous around other dogs because I'm a rescue. When I'm with Mariella I feel safe and I've made lots of new friends. Lots of love, Chester" — and from his humans: "Mariella is brilliant — she's so organised, reliable and caring. We couldn't recommend Mariella highly enough, totally trust her with our dog!"James Hulme (and Chester)via Google Reviews
"Mariella has been walking my dog several times a week now for the past 9 months. Darcy is very nervous, but Mariella was very gentle and patient and now Darcy absolutely adores her and always enjoys her walks. Mariella is very trustworthy and really cares about the dogs she looks after. I would recommend her — it would be hard to find a better dog walker."Tracy Neilvia Google Reviews
"My dog (Jax) has always been nervous around other dogs — we thought that was just his nature. When Jax met Mariella he warmed to her straight away, and ever since he has been much more comfortable around all dogs. It is exactly what he needed. Now Mariella tells us he leads the pack when it comes to playing! The pictures she takes are fantastic as well, an all round great service. Mariella is the best there is, I would highly recommend."Charlie Singervia Google Reviews
Every dog is different, which is why I offer both solo and group walks. Before your dog's first walk, I'll arrange a free meet and greet to get to know them, assess their temperament, and discuss their needs. Dogs selected for group walks are carefully matched based on age, personality and energy levels to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. If your dog would benefit from one-to-one attention, a solo walk may be the best option.
Your dog's safety and wellbeing always come first. Walks go ahead in rain, but during extreme weather, such as very high temperatures, storms or icy conditions, walks may be shortened, rescheduled or replaced with a home visit, garden play and enrichment activities. I'll always keep you updated and make the safest decision for your dog.
Dogs love exploring, so muddy paws can happen, especially during wetter months! I always carry towels and will wipe muddy paws and dry your dog off before bringing them home. While I do my best to keep them clean, please expect the occasional muddy adventure after particularly wet walks.
Yes. For the safety of all dogs in my care, I ask that dogs are up to date with their core vaccinations. I also recommend regular flea, tick and worm treatments. If your dog has a medical exemption or specific circumstances, please get in touch to discuss this before booking.
I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel a walk. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged at the full rate, as your appointment has been reserved specifically for your dog. I understand emergencies happen, so these will always be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Send a message with a bit about your dog and I'll get back to you to arrange a free meet & greet. Pre-bookings welcome.
